ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) for Professionals Working with Children and Adolescents

Our sixth term Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Training group for Experts Working with Children and Adolescents is starting!

 

The course, which will be delivered via Zoom, is planned to start on 9 September 2024 and will be completed in a total of 48 hours on Monday evenings between 20:00 - 23:00 on Monday evenings for 16 weeks.

 

The aim of the course is to teach the basic concepts, case formulation and application techniques of ACT on the basis of child and adolescent development.

The training is intended for specialists working with children and adolescents.

Theoretical presentations of the trainers and experiential practices with whole group / small groups will be carried out together.

Participants will be provided with training notes and resource list.

Participants who meet the attendance requirement (attendance to the whole training is compulsory) will be given a certificate of participation at the end of the training.

Group supervision sessions will be held at the end of the training, subject to an extra fee. 

 

 

Conditions for participation in the course:

 

Actively working in the field of child and adolescent mental health and illness (child and adolescent psychiatrists, adult psychiatrists working with adolescents, clinical psychologists, psychological counsellors).

It is obligatory for the applicants to send their diplomas stating that they are mental health specialists to the institute. The application of those who do not send their diploma will be deemed invalid.
