Search Inside Yourself (SIY) is a mindfulness-based resilience and resilience programme designed by Global to help professionals develop the skills to manage challenges in today's fast-paced and volatile work environment. Based on current neuroscience research, this programme offers practical practices that strengthen mental and emotional resilience, increase motivation and develop leadership competencies.

 

This programme aims to develop the ability of individuals and teams to manage challenges in situations of change and uncertainty by fostering a culture of trust and empathy within teams, while strengthening emotional agility, mental clarity and adaptability to change.

Session 1: Developing Clarity

Coping with stress and overwhelm and maintaining focus during challenging and uncertain times.

Acquire tools to stay calm during challenges and cope with difficult emotions.

Developing mental clarity and focusing skills in uncertain and ambiguous times.

 

Session 2: Changing the Mindset

 

Mindset and skills for adaptability and creativity in uncertainty and complexity.

Increasing the capacity to adapt in the face of major disruptions in work and life.

Broadening perspectives to shift from negative biases to a growth mindset.

Enhancing creativity and identifying new possibilities.

 

Session 3: Building Trust

Create a culture that is adaptive to change by increasing empathy and psychological safety in the team and organisation.

Understand the role of connection in building trust.

Increase capacity to show empathy and compassion in challenging times.

Understand how to integrate psychological safety in the team and organisation, especially in times of challenge and major disruption.

Certificate of Participation 

A certificate of participation will be given by Mindfulness Institute after the programme. The certificate is valid according to SIY Global's international standards. Participation in this programme does not entitle you to organise or deliver Mindfulness-Based Adaptive Resilience group programmes. To deliver the programme yourself, you need to attend the Train the Trainer programme organised by SIY Global.

Prof. Dr. Gökçe Bulgan

Prof. Dr. Gökçe Bulgan is a faculty member at Istanbul Rumeli University, Department of Psychology (English). For more than 20 years, she has been providing psychological counselling and training services to many individuals in Turkey and the United States. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Guidance and Psychological Counselling from Boğaziçi University and her PhD degree in Counselling Psychology from Purdue University, approved by the American Psychological Association. She is an internationally certified trainer of San Francisco, USA based SIY Global's Search Inside Yourself, mindfulness-based emotional intelligence and leadership skills development programme. Gökçe Bulgan gives many trainings in Turkey and abroad, provides consultancy to international mental health application startups and conducts scientific research on psychological well-being, mindfulness and couple relationships. She is the co-author of the book ‘Happiness 2.0’ published by Elma Publishing House.
