The Mindful Lab is a structured program designed to help you learn mindfulness through individual sessions, making it easier to integrate what you’ve learned into your daily life and establish long-term habits. In this structured, one-on-one program with a clear session flow, you will experience mindfulness with expert instructors.
Since 2014, the Mindfulness Institute has been offering mindfulness-based training and has been training instructors since 2019. The institute continues to grow and is making significant efforts to spread mindfulness.
What Does The Mindful Lab Offer You?
This program is designed to help you curiously explore the contents of your mind. The aim is to see the mind as a laboratory and to train yourself like a scientist working with your mind. Drawing its strength from the teachings of awareness, compassion, and acceptance, this program guides you toward a mindful life with the support and guidance of an expert mindfulness instructor.
Program Structure

The program was created by Prof. Dr. Zümra Atalay and is conducted under her supervision.

The program lasts for 5 weeks and consists of 10 sessions, each lasting 40 minutes and held twice a week.

Sessions can be conducted online or in person according to the participant’s preference. In-person sessions take place at the Mindfulness Institute office in Nişantaşı, Istanbul.

The program content is based on scientific research and clinical experience, and each session follows a structured curriculum.

The program focuses on experiential learning rather than just thinking or talking about mindfulness (we all know that knowing and doing are different).

How Is It Different from Psychotherapy?
The primary goal of this program is to teach skills to individuals. It aims to train the mind through a structured mindfulness framework and to develop skills for staying present, regulating emotions, and connecting with oneself and others.

How Much Time Should I Allocate Each Week?
Mindful Lab sessions are scheduled twice a week for 40 minutes each.

Participants are expected to dedicate 20–30 minutes per day to home practices between sessions to support their progress.
Can I Choose My Instructor?
Yes, you can either select your instructor or be matched with the most suitable instructor based on your schedule.

All instructors are internationally accredited mindfulness instructors trained at the Mindfulness Institute.

The cost of this 5-week, 10-session program is:
